Mrs. Ngeye, a 67-year-old widow for 15 years, used to be a successful pastoralist with many goats. However, due to the persistent drought in Laikipia, she has lost most of her livestock. She has 7 children who she struggled to put through school with the little money she got from selling some of her goats. She is seeking donations to support her family with food supplies, enroll her in the National Hospital Insurance Scheme and provide educational support for her children.
