My name is Odupoi,
I come from a large family that has been struggling with financial instability for years. We heavily depended on cattle keeping for our livelihood, but unfortunately, a prolonged drought between 2020 and 2023 devastated our means of survival.
The impact was profound. My siblings and I were forced to abandon our education as we grappled with the harsh realities of our circumstances. While my father managed to send the older children back to school eventually, my younger siblings and I remained on the sidelines, unable to resume our studies. However, my story took a turn for the better when Shelter Children’s Home came for my rescue. I enjoy being in school and I enjoy Mathematics and Music a lot.
