My name is Damaris, and I am the second of three children in my family. We fled Baragoi with my grandmother, Margaret Apua, due to regional clashes that led to the tragic loss of my grandfather, father, uncles, and mother. After relocating to Kibiko, Kajiado County, we faced financial difficulties, which prevented us from continuing our education.

However, my life took a positive turn when Shelter Children's Home came to our rescue. They took me back to school but they rely on your donations in order to continue supporting my schooling. I love being in school, particularly excelling in Mathematics and Science.
