My name is Namayiana.

I am a 15-year-old Maasai girl, born and raised in a very needy family. My parents depended on livestock as the main source of livelihood, but the 2022-2023 drought wiped them all out, leaving my family in total poverty. I stayed out of school for a while due to a lack of school fees, which exposed me to the risk of early marriage. My mother, unable to provide for my basic needs and education, made the decision to take me to Shelter Children’s Home.

Despite these challenges, I have found joy and hope in attending school, where I excel in English and Music. I truly believe that education can change my life and give me a brighter future.

I am writing to appeal for your support in helping me pursue my educational goals. Any contribution, big or small, would have a profound impact on my life and my family. I am in need of assistance for quality education, basic provisions, upkeep, and emotional support.
