My name is Jenifer,
I was born into a large polygamous family. Unfortunately, my parents are illiterate and rely on their few herds of cattle, which can be unreliable, especially during a drought. My sisters dropped out of school and got married at a young age. I got lucky I was rescued from the threat of early marriage and taken to shelter children’s home. Despite these challenges, I have found joy and hope in attending school, where I excel in my studies. I truly believe that education can turn my story around.
