My name is Machipen Teka Manyaas, a 65 years old man born and raised in the northern parts of Kenya to a nomadic family which moved constantly searching for pasture for their cattle. I spent most of my childhood herding the cattle and didn't get a chance to attend formal education. I got married and lived with my family herding animals as a way of livelihood. Things have changed over the recent years due to severe droughts that have caused death of cattle and loss of our primary source of livelihood. I am kindly appealing for assistance so that I can have a better life again.
