My name is Aloyie, a 63 old female born and raised in the northern part of kenya to a nomadic family that moved in search of water and pasture for their animals. I grew up herding our cattle and I didn't get formal education. I got initiated into young adulthood and married off immediately.
I began my family and spent my time mostly doing house chores as well as herding. Our community fully depends on livestock for a living. In the recent years things have changed due to unpredictable rainfall pertens in our region. The recent prolonged drought swept away all our livestock and the only source of livelihood hence contributing to tough economic times.
I am kindly appealing for your support so that i can be able to access healtcare and restock livestock and build a brighter future for my family.
