My name is Wamuyu, a 73 years old born and raised in the northern kenya to a family that practiced mixed farming as a way of livelihood. I spent my childhood helping my mom with the animals as well farm chores and never obtain formal education. I got initiated into young adulthood during teenage and married off immediately.
I raised my family with love and lived fairly comfortable until recently when climate change brought about unpredictable rainfall pattern. This caused the recent severe drought that dried up our farms and swept away all the livestock that we primarily depended on as a source of livelihood.
We now mostly depend on manual jobs which are scarce.
I am kindly appealing for your support in order for me to access healthcare and also improve nutrition.
